This year World Cup was finally won by Spain. People always used to say Spain are one great footballing nation who has never won big tournament 3 years ago. In 2008 they won their first European Championship and two years later they became World champions. (more…)

2010 World cup is being hosted first time in African soil and many bookmakers have Argentine, Spain, England and Brazil as favourites. I definitely see Brazil and Spain being the favourite but I question the other selections of the bookies. Brazil and Spain have always been known for their passing and movements and the fast pitches in South Africa will definitely suit them. (more…)

2010 World cup was held in South Africa and the next would be held in Brazil in 2014. Many people were complaining about the noise of the Vuvuzela this year but it was one of the most sold items in South Africa this year. Others are definitely alcohol and flowers. (more…)

Holland beaten by Spain in the Final of the World cup
The 2010 World cup will be remembered for two massive reasons. Firstly because Spain beat Holland to win their first ever World cup and secondly because South Africa became for the first nation in Africa soil to host the World cup. Casillas the Spainish caption when interviewed by a reporter (his Fiance) who was wearing a beautiful silver jewellery necklace told the media that this is fantastic achievement by a Spanish team. Premiership football of England generates most money than any other leagues in the World. Top football players have always said that English football league is one of the toughest and the hardest league to play in but why can’t England win the world cup? I reckon all these English players selected for the World cup squad should be at home cleaning their Kitchen accessories and dinnerware if they do not perform in South Africa this World Cup. (more…)

Late last week bad news surrounded English newspapers. Bad news of Rio Ferdinand, England captain injuring his knee in training which will rule him out of the World Cup. This is a terrible loss for England and for Rio himself. (more…)

The World Cup is now just over a month away and people are trying to hold back the excitement for kick off on June 11th. It’s also very fair and safe to say that a lot of people do not like the world cup and having it across all the televisions across the world is more of a pain than anything else so it can be a big pain. Spa bookings seem to have risen by a fair amount in the last few weeks and the World Cup is to blame for it. (more…)
